Ainsworth State Park in Oregon's Columbia River Gorge

This state park campground is the quitest one in the Columbia River Gorge. There still is a little noise from the freeway and trains, but not too bad, especially in the upper loop.

The large site we had (A-9) was a long pull-thru on the upper loop.

Our site had lots of shade, full hookups, a picnic table and fire ring.

The sites were $18/night. This campground does not participate in the reservation program, so all sites are first-come first-serve.

The lower loop has more sites and a more sunny, open feel. However, you are also closer to the noise of the freeway and trains.
